Taking place in the evening of the day-long No Borders Group Dance Challenge, the Honour Awards is designed to recognize not just winners from the Surrey Festival of Dance but also the most promising. Selected for recognition by the adjudicators, recipients receive either a trophy or scholarship – or both. All trophies are donated by long time dance supporters.
In general, over 45 trophies are placed into the hands of deserving dancers, as is nearly $5000.00 in scholarships. This critical recognition of talent and the awarding of financial assistance go a long way to ensuring the continued careers of our most talented dancers.
