“Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance.
Great dancers are great because of their passion.”

QUEEN OF THE TROPHIES: Susan Snow Sorely Missed

In Memorium
SUSAN MARIE SNOW
August 3, 1947 – September 6, 2018

It is with great sorrow that we announce that Susan Snow, an important member of the Surrey Dance Festival Society [SFD] and the Arts Council of Surrey [ACS], passed away on Thursday Sept 6. We greatly feel a loss in our hearts knowing we have lost a member of our SFD family.

Susan was the ‘Queen of the Trophies’ ! Susan spent 26 years donating her time to the Surrey Festival of Dance where she worked alongside her daughter Patty in the office.  She could be found fixing, shining and organizing the hundreds of trophies the SFD awards each year or you might find her upfront – bright and early – each day selling tickets at the front door during the month long festival.  The Festival will miss her greatly.

Susan was a very dear, kind-hearted lady who enjoyed reading and knitting handmade gifts for friends and family. When she was not hanging around the SFD office making people smile you would find her at the ACS devoting her time to something she truly loved. Our hearts go out to Susan’s daughter Patty, son David and family.

The family extended their deepest thanks for all the love and support they have received so far during this hard time and would like to thank everyone who shared in Susan’s life.
