The reward of years of dancing and rehearsing – the performance is usual the only thing needed to feel completely satisfied. However, the organizers of the SFD know that other incentives can provide milestones to a dancer and their career.
Dance is not an inexpensive activity and can be a stain on families. This is especially true if there are more than one performer in the family. The strain on finances trinkles down to dance studios and festivals such as the SFD.
As a result, the SFD has invested heavily over its past half desace to ensure that a healthy and strong scholarship, bursary and trophy program is available to reward dancers for their efforts. Today, the SFD gives out hundreds on trophies and many tens-of-thousands-of-dollars in bursaries and scholarship.
