The Future Achievement Scholarships (FA) was established in 2003. It is another way in which the Surrey Festival of Dance Society gives back to the community.
Surrey Festival recognizes the on-going financial challenges many young performers encounter with training, the Future Achievement Scholarship Program has become an avenue of support.
Applicants who are eligible receive scholarships. Funds are allocated are to assist in continued advanced dance training, summer dance intensive programs, or theatre arts development studies. These programs are vital in reinforcing technique and strengthening the essential tools required on the journey to, perhaps, pursuing a professional career in the performing arts.
Applicants, who are interested in applying for the Future Achievement Scholarship Program, should read over the qualifications and requirements carefully. The written application, supporting materials, as well as the performance support DVD documentation are clearly outlined.
